WiTEC Austria - a gateway for women in science, engineering and
technology
WiTEC (Women in Science, Engineering and Technology) is a European network
consisting of universities, companies, individuals and other private
organisations who want to support women in science and technology in Europe.
The Austrian host of WiTEC is Technikon, a consulting company from Villach. Since November 2003 Technikon creates a platform,
which allows women to be supported in the fields of IST and electronics. The WiTEC Association was founded at 21st April 2004.

WiTEC Europe
The WiTEC network, which consists of 12 european partners will support us to create a gateway for
Austrian and other european women who want to experience the world of science, engineering and
technologies inside and outside Austria.
WiTEC has the following aims at the European level
