Technikon supports female non-technicians by training them in technical areas in a process of strategic career development. In line with this project the main focus is on technology-oriented innovation management. Two female students from Halmstad University are going to evaluate this area and will pass on the knowledge gained in innovation management to the non-technicians of the company. Technikon enables young researchers to use their knowledge in a practical project and fosters the active exchange between research and practice. At the same time, this way of strategic further training supports the promotion of women in technology and innovation oriented areas.

Furthermore Technikon will provide the project results for other SMEs. Technikon aims to reach two targets with this project: the implementation of high-quality technical innovation management in SMEs on the one hand and the promotion of women in technical areas on the other hand. This project will help Technikon to increase the competitiveness by applying technology-oriented innovation management. This project offers additional skills to the employees involved. It supports them in their daily work and will increase their opportunities on the job market.
